dc.description.abstract	An index for temperatures of stars, based on B, V and R magnitudes, has been obtained. It was found that {θ ₑ [(B-V) ² +(V+R) ²]¹/²} relations are well defined linear equations for stars of spectral type later than GO and belonging to different luminosity classes.	en_US
