Abstract:
Withbroe'(1968) photospheric data on the equivalent widths of C2 lines for various positions on the solar disc have been utilized by us to determine the centre to limb behaviour of the rotational temperature.in view of current efforts aimed at emprovements in standard photospheric molels,the present day limitation in observational data on molecular lines and their analysis are discussed here.
