Utilizing the MACKKL photospheric model and the latest oscillator strengths, solar abundances of iron close to the meteoritic value N(Fe) = 7.51 ± 0.01 is obtained. It helps to remove the discrepancy between photospheric and meteoritic abundances of iron. |
