dc.description.abstract The spatial variation of aerosols is strongly coupled to the location of the source regions and prevailing atmospheric circulation, which transport the aerosols far away from the source regions. Thus, the concentration and properties (physical and chemical) of aerosols show large spatial and temporal variations over land, as well as over ocean. en_US
